Opening a New Account
You can open a Checking or Savings account online or in-person at Ladysmith Federal.
No matter how you apply, you'll need:
- Your Social Security number
- Valid ID (driver's license, state ID, or passport)
- Current residential address
- Funds to deposit
- Accounts for Retirement, Businesses, Non-Profits, & children 17 and under must be opened in-person.

- Social Security Number (SSN)
- Valid State ID or Driver's License with Current Physical Address listed
If address is not current: Utility Bill, Lease/Rental Agreement, Pay stub, etc. are acceptable documents.
Other acceptable forms of ID include: Passports, Student ID, Employee Name Badge, Medicare ID, & Military ID.

Parent or Guardian present at account opening with the information from above.
