Certificates of deposits (CDs) earn the best interest rates we have to offer — and some of the most competitive rates around!
For an investment of at least $1,000, you can choose a 3-month, 6-month, 1-year, 2-year, 3-year or 5-year term. All of our CDs offer the Triple Choice. When you open a new CD, choose one of the following:
- A one-time rate change; the term extends when the change is made.
- A one-time ½ principal balance withdrawal without penalty
- Add up to double the original balance to the CD; the term extends when the change is made.

You can open an account online or in-person at Ladysmith Federal.
No matter how you apply, you'll need:
- Your Social Security number
- Valid ID (driver's license, state ID, or passport)
- Current residential address
- Funds to deposit
